OVERVIEW
During my time contracting for Handsdown! Agency, I was brought in to act as the brand guardian for the UK communications of Silicon Valley Bank. Over the years, the original brand guidelines had become diluted, resulting in inconsistent output. My first task was to audit the existing brand communications and identify areas for improvement. I then developed a more streamlined set of templates that aligned closely with the master brand, ensuring consistency and coherence across all materials.
In addition to creating these templates, I oversaw their regular production, maintaining strict adherence to the refined brand standards. This involved coordinating with various teams to ensure that every piece of communication reflected the updated guidelines.
We also produced a series of explainer videos to better convey complex information to their customers. I was responsible for briefing the production team, overseeing the creative process, and presenting our concepts to key stakeholders within the UK team. This ensured that the videos not only adhered to the new brand guidelines but also effectively communicated their messages to the intended audience in a clear and engaging way.
