OVERVIEW
YouTube needed a new identity for their global program that would seamlessly integrate across all areas of the platform. The program celebrates each viewer's unique interests, and this diversity needed to be reflected in the wordmark treatment. I developed a concept where the word "my" served as a window into these diverse worlds. This approach provided flexibility, allowing for both clean, heavily branded backgrounds for corporate use and expressive, creative visuals for commercial appeal. Additionally, I created a coordinating pattern from the deconstructed shapes of "my," which could be utilised in YouTube's brand colours. I finished off the brand work with a comprehensive set of guidelines to be used globally for this programme.
